The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma had their “Kappa Kupcakes” Philanthropy on April 26, 2012 on their front lawn. Nexus Productions Inc. provided our professional DJ mixes for the event, and of course the cupcakes were absolutely delicious! The event benefitted the Norman Center for Children and Families, which is an extremely important cause. Thanks Kappas for asking Nexus Productions Inc. to be a part of another great philanthropy event.

The women of Pi Beta Phi held their annual “Dodge The Arrow” Philanthropy event on April 25, 2012. Teams from different organizations around campus took part in a major dodgeball tournament at the Houston Huffman Center. Nexus Productions Inc. was happy to provide our DJ services for this awesome event. All of the proceeds raised went to First Book, which is a nonprofit organization that provides books for children in need. Thanks Pi Phi for having us be a part of this important cause.

Nexus Productions Inc. was proud to be a part of OU’s 2012 Relay for Life on April 21, 2012. Relay For Life is an annual event that brings together more than 3.5 million people every year. It is held to celebrate the lives of cancer survivors, remember the ones we’ve lost, and fight back against the disease. All the funds raised benefit the American Cancer Society. At the event, there were teams of people camping out around the track, taking turns walking around the track throughout the duration of the event. There was also food, games, various activities, entertainment, and fundraising opportunities. This year participants raised $98,713! It was an incredibly successful event!

Alpha Phi held their annual Queso Competition on April 19, 2012 to benefit Women’s Heart Health. Representatives from several sororities, fraternities, and other groups and clubs around campus entered their queso into the competition in hopes of being voted the best! Nexus Productions Inc. was proud to provide our DJ services and Open Air Photobooth for the evening! All of the queso was delicious and everyone had a blast!

Nexus Productions Inc. was proud to be involved with the Brothers Under Christ First Annual Date Auction and Fashion Show on April 11, 2012 at the Oklahoma Memorial Union Ballroom. The event raised money for their new philanthropy, Stop Child Trafficking Now.
