The wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Grant and Shay Lynn Offenburger was a beautiful & amazing event held at the Belmar Golf Club on September 9, 2011! Not only did Nexus Productions Inc. provided the sound for the elegant outdoor wedding ceremony, we also provided the DJing, pink uplighting, karaoke, and our photo booth at the reception! We want to personally thank Grant & Shay Lynn for changing their wedding date from Saturday 9/10/11 to Friday 9/9/11 to accommodate our schedule so we could celebrate with them and provide our services! This was the 1st time a Bride & Groom had changed their date because we were already booked. We can’t thank them enough for their sacrifice on the most special of days! In the end, everything turned out PERFECT!
Their wedding day weather just right for their beautiful outdoor ceremony on the golf course. We provided an outdoor sound system and microphone for the music and singing during the ceremony. The Bride chose the song “Hero-Heroin” performed by the Vitamin C quartet for her Bridesmaids & Groomsmen to walk down to and “Canon in D” for the her & her father to walk down the aisle. The Bride’s Uncle sang “Love Never Fails” for the Sand Ceremony after they were announced “Husband & Wife” we played the Glee Version of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ as the newlywed couple marched back down the aisle together! After that the Bride & Groom whisked away in Golf Cart around the course!
To start off the reception festivities, we announced the entire wedding party including the parents to the Glee Version of the song “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. After the Bride & Groom were introduced to a standing ovation and thunderous applause, we took them to the dance floor for their 1st dance to ‘Everything’ by Michael Buble. We played one of the Bride’s Favorite Artists , Josh Groban’s “When You Say You Love Me” for the cake cutting immediately followed by the Best Man and Maid of Honor toasts. We then called the Father of the Bride to the dance floor for the Father/Daughter dance. This was a special moment and first for us as the Bride, Shay Lynn not only danced with her father, but also sang the song “Daddy’s Hands” at the same time. It was definitely a tender and heart warming experience to be a part of. After their dance, the Groom, Grant danced with his mother to ‘I Hope You Dance” also sung by the Bride. It definitely was very touching to have the Bride sing both the Father/Daughter and Mother/Song so beautifully that evening!
We then kicked off the dancing with the guests with the Dollar Dance which is always a great way to open up the dance floor! We played 3 Dollar Dance songs then proceeded with an Anniversary Dance with all the married couples in attendance playing our fun game of eliminating couples depending on how long they have been married. We then got everyone on the dance floor with the “Cha Cha Slide” and the dancing party began!!! The Offenburger family had a special tradition of welcoming in a new member of the family by everyone putting on “Groucho Marx” glasses and dancing and singing along to the classic country song “Family Tradition” by Hank Williams Jr. It was awesome to see everyone dancing and singing along wearing the funny glasses!
We then continued the night dancing and singing Karaoke with the family & guests. Also the guests had a blast taking pictures in our Nexus Open Air Photobooth and helping put together the Bride & Groom’s Memory book full of candid photobooth pics and messages from everyone. After the Bouquet and Garter Toss, the dance floor and Karaoke was nonstop until we did the Grand Exit with Sparklers for the Bride & Groom as they left Belmar Golf Club on their new journey through life together as Husband & Wife.
We want that thank Grand & Shay Lynn for including us and trusting us with their wedding celebration. It’s always an honor to be a part of the most important and special day of 2 people’s lives. We wish Grant & Shay Lynn a lifetime full of happiness and love and lots Karaoke nights in between!
