Roosevelt Elementary hosted their annual Rough Rider Run on Friday September 30, 2011. Students, parents, and teachers ran around the school yard as their peers cheered them on and Nexus Productions Inc. DJed in the middle. Our goal was to motivate the students to run, but most of all to have fun while they’re doing it! The Rough Rider Run promoted “Respect, Integrity, Self-Discipline, and Excellence.” Our sister company, Eskimo Sno, provided delicious snow cones as well for those in attendance! The PTA also provided various snacks for the students. This event was so much fun and motivational at the same time! Everyone really enjoyed it!
Gamma Phi Beta hosted their “Walk On The Wild Side” jungle themed date party on September 30, 2011! It was our first time at Joy’s Palace in downtown Norman and I am sure it won’t be our last! Joy’s Palace was a great event venue and Nexus Productions Inc. is excited to hopefully DJ there again soon. The Gamma Phis and their dates had a great time dancing the night away to the DJing of Nexus Productions Inc. We also provided the lighting with our newest lighting setup for this year! The women of Alpha Phi and their dates had an amazing time at their glow date party on September 30, 2011! Nexus Productions Inc. provided the DJing and all the awesome black lights that kept the party going! The party took place at the Red Room Event Center in Norman. Everyone had a great time at this event and we appreciate the women of Alpha Phi for allowing Nexus Productions Inc. to be a part of it. The night was a great success!

Nexus Productions Inc. came out to help support the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma at their Fall Semester “Book Bash” philanthropy! We had a great time providing the DJing for this awesome event which helped promote literacy in our community and supporting Reading is Fundamental. Everyone enjoyed the free drinks and delicious tacos from Tacos Los Compadres. The ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma helped raise money to buy textbooks for elementary schools in the area with the sponsorship of Beat the Bookstore. Everyone at the event also had the chance to win FREERatcliffe’s Textbooks gift cards, just for attending! We want to give a big thank you to the women of Kappa Kappa Gamma for their great involvement in the Norman community!
